About Cherokee Hikers
Who we are and what drives us to the trail
Our Story
Cherokee Hikers was founded by a small group of neighbors in Cherokee County, Georgia who shared one thing in common: a love for the outdoors. What started as informal weekend walks on Blankets Creek and the Hickory Flat trails quickly grew into an organized community of passionate hikers.
Today we bring together hikers of all skill levels — from first-timers exploring their first mile of trail to seasoned peak-baggers chasing Georgia's highest summits. Our goal has always been simple: get more people outside, safely and together.

- Welcome hikers of all experience levels — truly all are welcome
